Helping animals in need of a forever home is very important to Dr. Eckholm.  She started her career in veterinary medicine as a shelter veterinarian.  So many of the shelter animals she cared for were relinquished because of skin problems.  This led her to pursue a residency in dermatology.  Today Dr. Eckholm continues to help shelter pets.  If you are a shelter veterinarian or rescue group please call to discuss discounted shelter examinations and/or shelter visits.
